Dry Cast

Cast stone. Dry tamped into molds with pneumatic rams. 2-3 times the strength of wet cast. Mixture of white & gray cement, fine sand and crushed Limestone. Cast stone simulates natural limestone.

Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete. Sprayed into molds with a layer of fiberglass strands sandwiched between coats of cement/sand wet mix. Lightweight, thin, strong, looks like concrete. Used where weight is a factor.  Cost: medium to high. Installation cost: Low to
medium.

Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic. Sprayed into molds with layers of fiberglass strands. Lightweight, thin, strong, looks like Cast Stone. Used in conjunction with Cast Stone, where weight is a factor.
Cost: medium.    Installation cost: low.

Limestone

We have included limestone for comparison. Hand carved and machine tooled from quarried blocks.
Doesn't weather as well as Cast stone. Impractical these days because of building codes and expense.
Cost: very high.  Installation cost: very high.
